A Florida couple, Jose Caballero and Elissa Alvarez, have been found guilty of having sex on Bradenton Beach in the city and are to be registered as sex offenders after a three-year-old girl saw them in 'action'.
The grand jury spent less than 15 minutes to decide that the 40-year-old Caballero and the 20-year-old Alvarez were guilty as charged on the two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.
The sentence carries a maximum sentence of 15 years and will require them to register as sex offenders.
A video of the two having sex was used as evidence against them.
Assistant State Attorney Anthony Dafonseca, says he will seek a harsher sentence for Caballero, who previously spent 8 years in prison for cocaine trafficking. He believes Caballero will receive 15 years in prison due to his past record.
