Akromfrah beats 'Kabilla' for General Secretaryship

Delegates of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) have elected Professor Edmond Delle as the party’s new National Chairman.

Professor Delle who went unopposed staged a comeback for the same position he left years ago.The delegates also elected the party’s former Director of Communication, Nii Armah Akomfrah as General Secretary.

He replaces Ivor Kobina Greenstreet who did not seek re-election.Nii Armah Akromfrah beat favorite, James Kwabena Bonfeh also known as Kabila for the position.Emmanuel Dogbozor and Ernesto Yeboah both won the National Organizer and National Youth Organiser positions respectively.
