Man strangles girlfriend to death during rough sex

A 37-year-old Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, USA man, Toby Nicholas Clarke, has been arrested and charged for allegedly strangling his girlfriend, Krista Ambers, to death while they were having rough sex, reports Latest.

The Brooklyn Park police were called to a home the couple shared when Clarke called to report the incident and on arrival, the police found the woman who was not breathing and had no pulse.

In their report, the police said that the 36-year-old woman had injuries around her neck and arms and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner determined she died from strangulation and during interrogation, Clarke who had been dating Ambers for the past three years, admitted that he put his hands around her neck while having 'rough sex.'

But her friends told the woman was in an abusive relationship with Clarke, a convicted felon, and they had seen bruises on her neck multiple times before this incident.

The suspect has been charged with second-degree murder and if convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison.
