Reports went viral on Tuesday that Sulley Muntari was arrested and a car he was driving seized over monies owed a rental service provider.

However, Muntari has denied the allegation and has rather instructed his lawyers to take the necessary steps to bring sports.es to book for defamation of character.

“I am hugely surprised about where the story is coming from. I am taking legal action against the website immediately for defamation,” Muntari told GHANAsoccernet.com from his base in Italy.
