Fresh allegations surfaced via ARD on Sunday and the athletics governing body vowed to investigate.
"The IAAF thanks ARD and Mr. [Hajo] Seppelt for giving the independent chair Rune Andersen of the IAAF Taskforce advance access to video and audio recording material which was broadcast in today’s ARD/WDR documentaries," an IAAF statement read.
"The Taskforce will look carefully into the matters raised by the latest documentaries, including discussing them with representatives of RUSAF [All-Russia Athletic Federation]."
It remains unclear as to whether Russia will compete in athletics at the Rio Olympics.
