The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called on the Ghanaian electorates to desist from trusting the promises made by the governing NDC in their manifesto ahead of the December polls.

This was at a press conference held in Accra today by the NPP. The press conference was themed ‘promises made, promises broken’ was a response to the NDC promises in its manifesto.

Addressing the press conference the NPP’s Policy Adviser for the 2016 campaign, Boakye Agyarko, said President Mahama is not in touch with the masses and therefore does not deserve their trust.

He argued that the NDC’s Green book and other achievements the party claims to have made are untrue.

The NDC officially launched its manifesto on Saturday, September 17, 2016. According to the NDC the manifesto which is titled ‘changing lives, transforming Ghana’ is expected to develop a Ghana the more if the NDC wins the December 7 polls.
