He pointed out that as a committed Christian and a lover of peace, he will do everything within his power to make the elections peaceful.
The President made this known when he joined the West African Bishops who are attending the Regional Episcopal Conference of West Africa (RECOWA) for Sunday Mass.
In his address, he declared religious extremism as a threat to societies and implored all to work together to eliminate that threat.
He also urged every Ghanaians to stand in solidarity with all who are persecuted for their religious beliefs.
