IEA sets new date for its Evening Encounter with Nana Addo

Nana Addo was initially scheduled to take his turn on the IEA platform on July 5 but the Insitute subsequently postponed the programme without giving reasons for its decision.

The Institute of Economic Affairs’ (IEA) Evening Encounter series with the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been rescheduled to August 9, 2016.

The flag bearers of the People’s National Congress (PNC) and the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Edward Mahama and Ivor Kobina Greenstreet respectively, have already appeared on the platform to announce their policy strategies to the public.

The Evening Encounters will give the opportunity to each presidential aspirant to make their vision and plans known to a cross section of civil society.

These encounters are prior to the Presidential and Vice Presidential Debates to be held in August.
