The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched a campaign dubbed ‘adopt-a-polling station campaign’.

This campaign is to enable party sympathisers to sponsor polling agents of the party during the elections.

Launching the campaign at the Okaishie Drug-lane in the Greater Accra Region campaign manager of the party Peter Mac Manu said the NPP must have 29000 polling agents to ensure all goes on well at the stations.

Reminding the gathering of the ruling on the 2012 election petition, Mac Manu said they were told elections are won at the polling stations. He said this means they need to do all within their power to secure the ballots.

He mentioned that they can only do that when they motivate the volunteers of the NPP during the elections.
