Speaking to the media after submitting the forms the lead counsel for the PPP Nii Ayikoi Otoo said they replaced Richard Aseda with two other people.

The Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has today (Tuesday) submitted the corrected version of its nomination forms at the Electoral Commission (EC). This follows a Supreme Court ruling which directed the EC to allow all disqualified political parties to correct their anomalies identified by the EC.

The Supreme Court also ruled that the EC extends the duration for nomination till Tuesday November 8.

On the new errors identified by the EC after the Supreme Court ruling, Nii Ayikoi Otoo said the EC said there were issues with some signatures on the forms.

He said Richard Aseda during his meeting with the EC denied signing for two different regions.
