England's Ben Stokes will make his return from injury on Saturday for county side Durham.

Stokes missed the first Test of England's drawn series against Pakistan having picked up a knee injury in the opening match of the previous series against Sri Lanka.

The all-rounder played in England's victory in the second Test, only to miss the final pair of matches because of a calf strain.

Stokes is hopeful of returning for the one-day series, which starts on August 24, and will feature for Durham on finals day of the domestic T20 Blast competition.

Seamer Mark Wood will also be involved as he continues his comeback from injury.

Wood, who has not played for England since last October and has undergone two ankle operations, will feature alongside Stokes as Durham face a Yorkshire team boasting England's Joe Root, Gary Ballance and Jonny Bairstow in the semi-finals.
