The Jamaican Jerk chicken recipe is perfect for the summer! It is really easy and can be added to the menu at any BBQ summer party. The first time I ever had Jamaican Jerk chicken was at a summer food fair where there were a bunch of food vendors. I ended up at the Jamaican food stand and the Jamaican lady selling the food advised that I try the chicken; of course I never turn down chicken, so I did. Let’s just say I have been hooked ever since. It was so juicy, spicy and tender. So I started looking up different recipes on how to make it to my taste. This recipe is what I have come up with over the years. It’s very flavorful, so I’m sure you will enjoy it!Few Tips:

- Using your knife, you can gently slice each drum stick. I usually do this to open it up a bit.
- You can marinate the day before; simply put the chicken in a ziplock bag, pour all your spices in it, shake until the chicken is entirely covered and leave in the fridge over night
- If you do not like spice don’t add the Habanero pepper
- Find the spices on Nigerianfoods.com
