F1: Romain Grosjean on Stewart-Haas NASCAR chance

Formula One star Romain Grosjean is keen to race in NASCAR by taking advantage of the links Haas have to the sport.

Chief operating officer of Haas Joe Custer earlier this week confirmed the team's desire to give Grosjean an opportunity with the Stewart-Haas Racing outfit.

The Frenchman would relish the chance to compete in NASCAR, but added there are no concrete plans in place at the moment.

"Definitely, I want to do it," said Grosjean. "It's something we discussed since day one and it would be a great experience.

"When it happens, I don't know. With 21 [F1] races it is quite tight.

"You don't want to start on an oval, I wouldn't be very comfortable. We will find what is possible to do."
