Eight people including two pregnant women and two babies have lost their lives in a gruesome motor crash at Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region.The Atebubu District Police commander, Chief Superintendent Joseph Atsu Dzineku con firmed the accident and said two vehicles head-on in a collision on the Atebubu-Mampong highway when an Opel Astra spurt its tyre and run into the other.

The bodies of the dead have since been deposited at the morgue while four others who sustained injuries are receiving treatment at the Atebubu Government Hospital.
