On the African continent Cape Verdes Islands disposed 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Champions Cote d’Ivoire from the first position.

Cape Verdes Islands gained two more points to take the first position in Africa with Cote d’Ivoire losing  points.

Ghana are still forth in Africa despite their drop in points.
