The December 2019 rankings saw the Terenga Lions of Senegal still ranked number one in Africa and 20th in the world. The Carthage Eagles of Tunisia placed second in Africa and 27th in the world, whilst the Super Eagles of Nigeria was ranked 3rd in Africa and 31st in the world.

The Desert Foxes of Algeria was 4th in Africa and 35th in the world, and the Atlas Lions of Morocco were ranked 43rd in world and 5th in Africa.

Belgium still remained number one in the world, followed by France and Brazil. 

England was 4th whilst Uruguay, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Colombia placed 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th respectively.
