It's no coincidence that people often times return from a vacation a little heavier than when they left. This is because more often than not, food plays a major role in travel.

CNN recently asked their readers to vote for their favorite culinary destination in an open Facebook poll. Not surprisingly, majority of the destinations were Asian countries.
