Franklin Asante crowned champion of West Hills Esports tournament

Asante beat off competition from 32 other players to be crowned champion in the EA Sports FC 24 Tournament.

The gaming contest was made possible through a collaboration between the West Hills Mall and the Ghana Esports Federation.

After a series of knockout rounds, Asante and George Osei were the last men standing as the finalists.

However, Asante proved to be too good, as he romped to a 4-2 victory over his formidable opponent to be crowned champion.

For his reward, Asante received a cash prize of GHc3000 and a voucher worth GHc1000 to shop at the West Hills Mall.

Osei also received an amount of GHc2000 and a GHc500 voucher for finishing second, while Montana secured third place and took home GHc1000 and a GHc500 voucher.

The president of the Ghana Esports Federation Igor Boumekpo expressed his gratitude to the West Hills Mall for partnering with the Federation to make the tournament a success.

He noted that the Esports Federation was committed to promoting a safe and healthy environment for all Esports activities in Ghana.

Meanwhile, influencer Kaly Jay and comedian Made in Ghana were also present at the Esports tournament and thrilled fans by engaging each other in a heated contest.
