Ghana has four months to the general elections and as the practice in every election has been, Ghanaians should be prepared to listen to a lot of peace-centered messages.

People should also expect the Peace Council, Christian Council and other civil society organisations to come out with a lot of calls for peace and calm over the next few months.

This is the time politicians make very passionate and insightful statements many people consider will disturb the peace in the country, but executive director for (WANEP) Chukwemeka Eze thinks otherwise.

The faculty member of the West Africa  Peacebuilding and Institute and Kofi  Annan International Peacekeeping Centre, who has also served as the programme director at the Regional office for five years and national network coordinator for Nigeria for seven years says Ghanaians are beyond the point where they will allow themselves to be influenced by politicians.

He however admits that the system but says every sector is working to ensure that nothing mars the peace Ghana is enjoying.
