Blame gov’t communicators for ‘media sabotage’ – Tarzan

The founder of Ghana’s first private radio station popularly known as Tarzan was responding to claims by President Mahama that most media organisations are owned by a cabal who are blocking his message.

A chief policy analyst at the Ghana Institute for Public Policy Options (GIPPO) Dr Charles Wereko-Bobby has asked President Mahama to blame the choosy government communicators for the supposed blockage of government’s message about its achievements.

The founder of Ghana’s first private radio station popularly known as Tarzan was responding to claims by President Mahama that most media organisations are owned by a cabal who are blocking his message.
Speaking on Accra-based Citi FM Dr Wereko-Brobby said the messages are being blocked by the arrogance exhibited by government communicators who verbally abuse people when given the platform to share the achievements of the party.

He mentioned that the media has developed from just believing what a political parties claim it has achieved to verifying the achievements and giving feedbacks to their audience.
He rather advised President Mahama and the government communication machinery to publicise information that is only truthful.
