The man who did the damage for Hearts of Oak was returnee, Wilfred Cobbinah who supplied the balls that resulted in all the three goals in the first half.

Bechem United after the break came into the game strongly and pulled one back through Nana Antwi Manu and Abdul Bashiru reduced the deficit further to make the score line 3-2.

However, Hearts of Oak survived the scare when Cosmos Dauda scored the fourth goal to put the game beyond the reach of Bechem United.
