The Scientific Soccer Lads returned to winning ways at the Carl Reindolf Park on Sunday against Techiman City having drawn their previous league fixture against Wa All Stars in Wa.

The win pushed them to fifth on the league log, inching them closer to their target (top4) early on for the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season.

And Sarfo, who was named the skipper for the Ghana Premier League season says the secret to their performance is hard work.

“The secret to winning matches will be impossible without hard work," elated Samuel Sarfo told pulse.com.gh/sports in a post-match interview.

“We've been working hard since pre-season, so the results are just the icing on the cake. We've worked hard in training and in games and that's what is producing the results,” he continued.

Latif Blessing was the star man of the afternoon. The diminutive attacking midfielder caped off his superb performance with a thumping header goal, beating Frank Boateng who had been on top his game too.

Samuel Sarfo had words of praise for his teammate.

"Latif Blessing is a type of player who can influence results. No matter the opposition we come against, provided Latif Blessing will have a good, day we will beat you. He is very skillful and very intelligent so he has been given the license to play with freedom," Sarfo revealed.

Liberty Professionals' next outing in the league will be on the road to Sogakope to face free scoring West Africa Football Academy who lost by a lone goal to Aduana Stars in Dormaa.
