New Edubiase are experiencing their worst season in the Ghana Premier League, lying in the relegation zone most parts of the ongoing season.

However, Abdul Salam Yakubu has assured their teeming fans that they should remain calm and rally behind the team, since they will survive relegation in the end.

“New Edubiase United will survive relegation, because this is not the time for that to happen to us. I will tell everybody when it is time for us to go back to division one,” he said.

“The fact that we came out complaining about the financial challenges the club is going through, doesn’t mean we are financially handicapped. New Edubiase United is one of the premier league sides that is doing well financially.

“I am assuring all our supporters that we will not be condemned to relegation. New Edubiase United will start picking up points in both home and our fixtures to finish in a respectable position in the league.”

New Edubiase United have gained 16 points from 18 league games and are rocked bottom of the 16 club Ghana Premier League.
