Kayserispor striker Asamoah Gyan returned from injury with a bang after scoring in the club’s 2-1 win over Yesil Bursa in the Turkish Cup.

The Ghana international has battled with fitness issues in recent months, and has missed a chunk of the season due to niggling injuries.
The former Sunderland striker has been out since the beginning of October and missed Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda, as well as the Black Stars’ international friendly against Saudi Arabia.
However, Gyan has made a return to full fitness and demonstrated his lethal instincts by helping Kayserispor into the next round of the Turkish Cup.
The 31-year-old opened the scoring for his side after rising highest to head home on the 44th minute.
The goal was, however, cancelled when Kadir Turhen leveled for Yesil Bursa early in the second half.

But Kayserispor will have the last laugh, with Deniz Türüç snatching the winner at the death in the 94th minute to seal progression.
Gyan return will come as a huge boost to Kayserispor with the club struggling to score goals in the absence of the Black Stars captain.
