Asamoah Gyan makes injury return following muscle strain

The striker returned to training on Thursday with the first team of Kayserispor.

The Black Stars captain suffered a strain on his thigh during Ghana’s home tie against Congo in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The 31-year-old subsequently missed his nation’s away game against the Red Devils, as well as this month’s qualifier against Uganda, before again failing to recover for Ghana’s Saudi Arabia in an international friendly.
