The former Asante Kotoko left-back was out of the New York Red Bulls roster for 2018.
Baah had a 22-month stint with the New York based club where he was plagued with injuries.
Gideon Baah speaking to Citi FM raised the issue that he believed the club will let him stay however he realized will just have to accept it and move on.

“I honestly did not see this coming because of the way they treated me. They always called to check up on me when I was recovering. They involved me in training and they were always on top of the details when it came to my rehab.
"Concerning my exit, I did not see it coming but that is what it is.”
“Honestly, I have improved and I have grown as a person and a player. I choose to look at the positives and I have a lot. The club treated me well and they were like a family for me. The most important thing is that I have learned a lot for the future.”
