President Mahama horrified at NPP chairman’s death

President John Mahama has said he is “horrified” at the murder of the Upper East regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adams Mahama.

Alhaji Adams was showered with acid last week Wednesday near his residence while returning from his construction site. He was pronounced dead at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital the day after and was buried on Saturday.

In a tweet, President Mahama condemned the act and assured that justice will be served.“Horrified @ murder of UE NPP Chair Adam Mahama. Nothing can justify such barbarism. Condolence to wife & family. There'll be justice.-- JM.”
