When the persistent rains finally cleared on Sunday night and they got down to racing at Bristol Motor Speedway, the field could not outlast Kevin Harvick.

The number four driver set the pace and led 128 laps to win the weather-delayed Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race nearly 24 hours after it was scheduled to finish.

Spotty showers in Bristol, Tennessee still dampened Sunday's running, forcing several cautions, but drivers managed to get all 500 laps in.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. finished 1.9 seconds behind Harvick. Denny Hamlin, Austin Dillon and Chris Buescher rounded out the top five.

Originally scheduled for Saturday night, the race's start was delayed an hour. When it finally got underway, drivers completed only 31 laps before the rain returned.

After two red-flag delays, NASCAR finally postponed the event.

When action got back under way Sunday night, the field lined up in the order it had been running Saturday night when the rain came.

Kyle Busch led the way on the restart and went on to lead 256 laps total before being taken out in a four-car wreck on Lap 357.

An 11-car crash followed several laps later, whittling the field further, and Harvick cruised the rest of the way.

It is Harvick's second win this season and second ever in Bristol, a track on which he has traditionally struggled. His last win there came in 2005.
