Hearts of Oak sack Coach Kim Grant

The Phobians in a statement have stated that the club have replaced Kim Grant with their assistant coach Edward Nii Odoom.

“Accra Hearts of Oak and Director of Football Kim Grant have parted ways. Edward Nii Odoom takes over with immediate effect as the head coach,” a statement on Hearts official Twitter handle reads

“The club would like to ask for continuous support for Coach Odoom and we wish Coach Grant the very best in his future endeavours".

Accra Hearts of Oak surprisingly suffered a home defeat against Berekum Chelsea on matchday 1 of the Ghana Premier League- their first home league defeat against the Berekum lads.

Grant a former Technical Director of Elmina Sharks joined the 20 times Ghana champions before the start of the 2018 aborted Ghana Premier League.
