Mixed social media reception after NSS allowance increase

The Ghanaian social media space has been filled with mixed reactions after the outgoing NDC government increased National Service allowance by 40 percent.

The increment is expected to take effect from January 1, 2017.
According to a memo, signed on December 14, 2016 by the Chief Director of the Ministry of Finance, and cited by Pulse.com.gh, the new monthly allowance is 559.04 cedis.
