In the past couple of days, former United States First Lady and Secretary of State has been in the newsover allegations that she used her personal email account to send work emails.
Earlier on, Clinton tweeted her consent asking the US State Department to release her emails in the wake of the controversy.
While the State Department has risen to Clinton's defence, saying that at the time there was no prohibition on using a personal email account for official business as long as it was preserved, several Republicans have been very vocal about condemnation of her actions.
A few experts have also argued that the move wasn't in the nation's best interest given her very sensitive position at the time as Secretary of State.
