‘I’m grateful to God’ – Agyemang-Badu returns to action after 6-month absence
Six months after being diagnosed with blood clots in his lungs, Ghana midfielder <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/sports/football/watch-agyemang-badu-trains-for-the-first-time-with-new-club-hellas-verona-video/678y5e0" rel="noopener noreferrer">Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu</a> has returned to action.

The 29-year-old joined Serie A side Hellas Verona on loan from Udinese last summer but never got to make his debut after a health scare.

The Ghana international was hospitalised in August last year after he was diagnosed with a pulmonary microembolism.

There were initial fears that the midfielder would never play again during to his condition.

However, Agyemang-Badu has recovered and finally made his debut for Hellas Verona on Sunday.
The Ghanaian replaced Mattia Zaccagni in the 80th minute during the club’s 2-0 victory over SPAL.
Delighted by his return to action, Agyemang-Badu took to Twitter to revel in the moment.
“Thank you all, I’m grateful. God bless,” he posted, accompanied by a photo in which he was in a celebratory mood.
