The young man, Kwadwo Robert populary known as Asampian by townsfolks had honoured an invitation from his close friend to help him kill a cat of a neighbor.

They however found out that the cat was pregnant with five younger ones but paid no attention to it and went ahead to cook and consume it.

Shortly after eating, Asampian started to behave quite strangely to the surprise of people around him. He began to act out like a cat, making ‘meow’ sounds as a cat would.

Rumors say he also dragged himself on the ground and gazed at people as if he was aiming to pounce on them.

Kwadwo was thereafter rushed to the Sampa Government Hospital but died on arrival.
