The Fulani old man was shot dead on Thursday, February 15, 2017 at Maame Krobo in the Eastern region.

An eyewitness Eric Dzakata narrating the incident to Accra-based StarrFM said “I heard three gunshots between 4 and 5 am and thought it was a hunter hunting at that time because that is what usually happens so I didn’t take it seriously. But when I stepped out of the house around 6:30 am I heard of the shooting of a Fulani old man."

"I got to the scene ad realized it was true. From what I saw the man was shot three times by unknown assailants and the police came to the scene.”

The deceased is currently at the Donkorkrom Mortuary.
