People at Kumasi in the Ashanti region woke up to a rather sad news on Tuesday morning.

Tony Adomako, a 78- year- old pensioner was murdered at the Coconut Guest House in Kumasi.

According to the family of the deceased, the incident occurred on Monday evening at the afore mentioned guest house.

Reports further reveals that Mr Adomako who owns the guest house was murdered during a power outage in the Kumasi metropolis.

Granddaughter of the deceased, Victoria Hayford in an interview with Ultimate FM’s Isaac Bediako Justice said she received a call in the morning that her grandfather had been stabbed and was at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

According to the granddaughter, she arrived at the hospital only to be told that her grandfather had died from the stab wounds

It was reported that he died few minutes after he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
