The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH), pending further investigations.

A 26-year-old spare parts dealer is in the grips of the police for allegedly stabbing his friend to death during a heated argument in the Tolon District of the Northern Region.

The incident is said to have happened around 9pm on Thursday.

The suspect, Alhassan Chinto, stabbed his friend, Fuseini Daanaa for allegedly breaking a table he (Chinto) was using for his business, Graphic reports.

Chinto was subsequently apprehended by residents in the area who later handed him over to the police.
