An Accra Human rights court hearing the suit brought against the opposition New Patriotic Party by its suspended second vice chairman Sammy Crabbe has put the matter on hold following misunderstanding over filing procedures.
The adjournment followed a preliminary objection by lawyer for the NPP Godfred Dame and upheld by the court over the failure of the applicants to observe rule 55 of the courts Act dealing with how suits should be filed.
The suspended vice chairman, Sammy Crabbe proceeded to court months after his suspension by the National Executive Council of the Party citing violation of the rules of natural justice, error on the face of the records and a breach of procedure.

Mr Crabbe further stated in his suit that the two party members who brought the petition against him, Mr. Boye Laryea and Ms. Gladys Tsotso Mann-Dedey, were not members of congress and could not have begun any such proceedings against him.
