John Paintsil has been handed an award by Kaizer Chiefs after two-seasons with the sides backroom staff.

The 36-year-old was named as the assistant coach of Steve Komphela at Kaizer Chiefs two seasons ago to replace former South African international Doctor Khumalo as Chiefs' assistant.
Paintsil backed Steve Komphela to guide the former South African champions to a fourth place finish last season in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Paintsil's club career included stints with English sides West Ham and Fulham.
He was part of the Black Stars squad that played in both the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup
