Super Eagles defender resumes training with Chelsea

Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has resumed training with his parent club, Chelsea.

It is not clear if Chelsea would want to sell the defender or loan him to anther club to gain experience.

Omeruo signed for Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012 and upon signing went on loan to Dutch top-flight side ADO Den Haag.

Then only 19, he impressed enough in the Eredivisie to earn a call up to the Nigerian national team.

Omeruo took to his Instagram to post a photo of himself and Patrick Bamford with whom he spent last season with at Midlesbrough.

"Back to training good to see my bro today #cfc #chelseafc," the defender wrote alongside the photo.

Omeruo according to is however not training with the Chelsea first team

Chelsea according to report, have placed all their players who are on back from loan from other clubs in a special 'loan squad' for pre-season.

Eddie Newton, technical coach of Chelsea's youth development programme, and assistant Paulo Ferreira, will lead the players not wanted by Jose Mourinho's touring first-team selection.

The Blues sent 31 players out on loan last season and they will all train together at their Cobham base while they wait for offers to come in from other clubs.

Lucas Piazon, right back Wallace, Chilean winger Cristian Cuevas and Croatian goalkeeper Matej Delac, Marko Marin and Bamford are some of the players who are owned by Chelsea.
