Black Stars forward Kwesi Appiah joined his Crystal Palace team in training ahead of the pre-season fixture against Philadelphia Union on Wednesday.
Alan Pardew’s team have started preparations ahead of the new English Premier League season as players work out to gain some fitness.
Kwesi Appiah suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury while on international duty with the Black Stars of Ghana. The player hasn’t played for both club and country since and was in a happy mood during training with Crystal Palace.
Black Stars teammate Jonathan Mensah posted on his Twitter handle:
“Happy to see my bro @kwes1appiah back to full training with @CPFC. Keep smiling bro #KwesiPina #Blackstar”
Kwesi Appiah joined Crystal Palace in 2012. The player has since been on loan at Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Notts County, AFC Wimbledon and a second loan spell at Cambridge United before Reading.
