Liberty Professionals appoint dancehall artiste Samini as brand ambassador

Samini’s role is to help whip up enthusiasm for Liberty Professionals games.

It is a public knowledge that the Ghana Premier League has lost its spark and for some time now football fans have turned their attention to the European leagues.

And after the Number 12 expose’ more fans have lost confidence in domestic football, so patronage is going to reduce.

The Scientific Soccer Lads have acted very fast by bringing Samini who is a resident of Dansoman on board as their brand ambassador to help mobilise fans for the club.

“I have been appointed as the brand ambassador for Liberty Professionals. Definitely, it is Liberty Professionals that I have to associate myself with as a resident of Dansoman,” he told the media.

Details of the agreement between the ‘My Own’ hitmaker and Liberty Professionals is not yet out, it is understood he will be performing at some of their matches before kick-off to entertain fans.

Music is a tool that is sometimes used to promote sports and during the opening and closing ceremonies of most tournaments, there are various performances from music icons to add flavour to the ceremony.

Performance of music icons was adopted in the finals of the Ghana FA and fans really enjoyed themselves, which is part of the reasons why the organizers of the competition were hailed by Ghanaians.
