The Toronto Raptors moved ahead of the Miami Heat in the NBA play-offs as the Golden State Warriors were beaten.

The Portland Trail Blazers worked their way back into their NBA play-off series against the Golden State Warriors with a 120-108 win in game three.

With reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry still sidelined with a knee injury, the Warriors were outplayed at Moda Center on Saturday.

Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 40 points and 10 assists, but they trail the Western Conference second-round series 2-1.

Al-Farouq Aminu also starred for Portland, joining Lillard with a double-double as he ended up with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Only Draymond Green (37 points), Klay Thompson (35) and Leandro Barbosa (10) managed to get into double-figures for the Warriors on the road.

Game four of the series is in Portland on Monday.

In Miami, the Toronto Raptors earned a 2-1 series lead against the Heat thanks to a 95-91 victory at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Kyle Lowry was the star, going five-for-eight from three-point range to post 33 points in the win.

Dwyane Wade managed a game-high 38 points for the Heat, who lost Hassan Whiteside in the first quarter with a knee injury.

The Heat host game four on Monday.
