He released the diss track following Wanlov's recent diss to him over his inclusion in MTV Base's "2016 Hottest Ghanaian Mcs" list.

In Wanlov's song titled "F**k MTV Base", he rated his sister Deborah Vanessa (Sister Derbie) over D-Black and suggested that Medikal, Yaa Pono, Cyril, M3nsa, Joey B, Jayso, Dex Kwasi, Akan, Eno, Macho Rapper, Criss Waddle among others should have been on the list.

Reacting to this, D-Black attacked him and described his American accent as fake. He also talked about his brand which has negatively affected his career among other things.
