The 34-year-old multiple award-winning musician made this statement during an exclusive interview on Pulse TV.

Samini said Ghanaian politicians’ choice of words when they are given any platform can proselytise a peaceful election in the upcoming polls. “I think politicians should mind their language when they are on any given platform,” he told Pulse.com.gh

“They should stick to their agenda and forget all their propaganda. They should forget all the unnecessary fabrications for attention and stick to the agenda. I think that is going to bring a peaceful election,” he added.

Samini launched a peace song and video titled “Mama Ghana” featuring Kofi Kinaata on November 1 at +233 Jazz Bar & Grill in Accra. The song which has been endorsed by the Electoral Commission of Ghana will serve as one of the official peace songs for this year's general elections.
