Yeboah has been training with the national U-20 team of Ghana at Sogakope, the home grounds of West Africa Football Academy, since he joined the team from England last week.

His failure to make the cut for coach Jimmy Cobblah’s team comes as a surprise because he joined the side with high profile, having flourished with the Man City II team in the youth Premier League and the UEFA U21 Champions League.

Other notable casualties are former Ghana U17 stars Gabriel Leveh and Najeeb Yakubu.

Jimmy Cobblah is preparing with the Black Satellites for the 2019 CAF U20 Cup of Nations to be held in Niger next month.

Ghana are in Group B alongside Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso.
