Manchester City defender joins Black Satellites camp for Africa U-20 Nations Cup

Amankwah who was born in England to Ghanaian parents qualifies to play for either Ghana or the European country, but he has committed the future of his international career to the Africans.

He has therefore joined Jimmy Cobblah’s team as they prepare for the tournament slated for next month from 2-17 February, 2019.

Amankwah Yeboah arrived last night and he is heading to the team’s camping base at Sogakope, the home grounds of West African Football Academy (WAFA).

The former Crystal Palace academy player has been in the thick of events at the youth team of Manchester United, having been played key role in the U-18 Premier League and the UEFA Youth League

Ghana are in Group B alongside Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso.

The 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations will run from 2-17 February in two host cities Niamey and Maradi.
