New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey has been placed on the 15-day disabled list due to discomfort in his right shoulder.

Harvey gave no indication he was injured on Monday despite allowing six runs (five earned) on 11 hits over just 3.2 frames against the Miami Marlins.

That ballooned his ERA to 4.86.

There is no timetable for a recovery for Harvey, who is 4-10 this season, but the upcoming All-Star break should provide him with extra rest.

Right-handed pitcher Seth Lugo has been recalled from Triple-A  Las Vegas with the corresponding roster move.
