Super Eagles midfielder 'farts' on live TV

Now, John Obi Mikel is known for the good things;  a fine face, sexy touches on the round leather ball and a flattering smile.

The 27 year-old has no ills going for him, except that he doesn’t score much and he knows that too.

Mikel in a setting that looks exactly like a live TV recording may have released hazardous gas into the air as his posture and the reaction of the man seated next to him implies.

In an Instagram photo, Mikel raises his foot, buttocks turned to one side; a perfect positioning for a smooth release of the very necessary but unwelcome air and the man beside him, pads hands across his nose.

The photo describes just what may have happened, but again, it may have been something less of what it seems.
