When the Vikings got to their sixth-round pick, they took the German wider receiver from Schwabisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League with the 180th overall pick.
Boehringer told NFL Network the Vikings were the one team that scouted him the most heavily.
"I can't describe how I feel right now. It's overwhelming," Boehringer, who has been an admirer of Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, told NFL Network following his selection. "It's the coolest thing ever."
