MotoGP: Rested Marquez ready for Brno challenge

Marc Marquez will look to claim his first victory at the Czech Republic MotoGP since 2013 this weekend after a week of rest.

The Spaniard saw his championship lead cut to 43 points last weekend as he suffered a dislocated shoulder in the third practice session in Austria.

He was still able to race and finished fifth to pick up 11 points, but both Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo cut his advantage.

Marquez has spent his time since the Red Bull Ring resting his shoulder and he hopes that will enable him to push harder in Brno.

"We had a challenging weekend in Austria but we did the best we could and, all things considered, we were able to get away quite well," he told a media conference.

"The shoulder didn't bother me during the race but it was a bit sore afterwards, so these couple of days before Brno have been good to rest a bit.

"Brno isn't one of my favourite tracks but we've been able to get some good results there in the past. We must be really focused and work well in order to be able to fight for the podium again."
